Wood B. Norvell joins Birko as Technical Representative

Birko, a leader in providing food safety solutions to the protein processing industry, today announced it has hired Wood B. Norvell as a technical representative, covering Texas and Kansas accounts.

“We’re delighted to have Wood on board,” said Philip Snellen, Birko’s vice president of sales. “He’s an accomplished professional with solid experience serving the needs of the food processing industry through chemistry and equipment. He’ll be a great addition to Birko.”

Based in Amarillo, Norvell will be responsible for serving protein processors in Texas and Kansas. Before joining Birko, he was a regional manager with the Vincit Group. His background also includes positions with PureLabs, where he was a meat solutions manager and DeLaval Inc., as national accounts manager. Norvell earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Oregon.
