Birko’s Philip Snellen Presenting at Oct. 20 NAMP Webinar on FSIS “Big Six” Non-O157 STEC Policy

HENDERSON, Colo. – Philip Snellen, vice president of sales for Birko, will make a presentation at a special member webinar on non-O157 E. coli adulterants, sponsored by the North American Meat Processors Association, Thursday, Oct. 20 at 2:00 p.m. EST.

Snellen will provide an educational overview of Birko’s antimicrobial processing aids, including specialty chemical formulations and equipment, and their effectiveness against E. coli, Salmonella and other pathogens.

Other webinar speakers are Dr. Barb Masters, senior policy advisor at the Olsson Frank Weeda law firm and a former FSIS administrator, and Ann Wells, NAMP’s director of scientific and regulatory affairs.
